Job summary

Southcoast Health in New Bedford, MA seeks a Midwife for per diem call coverage to support our OB/GYN Office. This role includes day/evening shifts and 12-24 hour calls, including weeknights, weekends and holidays.

Under direction of the physician team, you will provide diversified clinical and patient care, ensuring safe, ethical care close to our communities. A Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Nurse Midwifery are required, along with BLS and active MA nursing license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Master's degree in nurse midwifery required.
• Massachusetts RN license in expanded role.
• BLS certification required.
• Over 3 months related experience required.
• CME requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Under direction of individually assigned Physician, Office Manager or Designee, perform diversified clinical, patient care and related duties both within and in support of the OB/GYN Office.

We are searching for a talented candidate for Midwife for per diem call coverage

Hours: Per Diem - 12-24 hour call

Shift: Day/ Evening - Weeknights, weekends and holidays

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.
