Canada's Wonderland in Massachusetts is seeking dedicated team members for the Midway Washdown team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that park areas are clean and safe, contributing to the guest experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Flexibility is key, as shifts start at 5am and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to complete tasks with little supervision.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to meet job demands including lifting.
• Effective English communication skills.
• Must be 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Remove trash and debris from park areas.
• Sweep walkways and collect rubbish.
• Use a leaf blower for clearing debris.
• Drive a sprayer truck to wash surfaces.
• Scrub problem areas in the midway.
• Hose down areas when necessary.
• Wipe down trash receptacles and tables.
• Assist in other Park Services duties.

Job description

Overview

Our Midway Washdown team helps the park shine from behind the scenes! You might not be seen by the guests, but you definitely affect their day by ensuring our midways and patios are spotless at the start of their day. Your attention to detail ensures our park is clean no matter the crowd size!

Pay Starting at $16.10/Hour

Schedule: Avlaiable shift: 5am to 12pm

Responsibilities

• Identifying and reacting to detailed areas both behind the scenes and in Guests' view in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Searching for trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti to be removed
• Sweeping park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with broom and collect rubbish with a dustpan
• Utilizing a leaf blower to clear the midways of debris
• Driving a sprayer truck to wash all park surfaces
• Scrubbing problem areas in the midway
• Hosing down back areas and patios when necessary
• Wiping down all trash receptacles, table tops and counters
• Assisting in other areas of the Park Services Department
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications
