Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• At least 1 year of related work experience in the natural gas industry; pipeline, storage, and facility operations.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Products.
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and research skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify work priorities and function with very little supervision at times.
• Must be a team player, self-motivated with high level of energy and initiative.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of related work experience in the natural gas industry; field, mechanical, glycol dehydration, and compression experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe operating environment following EQT policies and procedures.
• Performs duties related to maintaining and operating midstream gathering systems including compression, pipelines, storage, dehydration, measurement, and associated equipment.
• Operates, troubleshoots, and performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs of pipelines, engines, dehydration equipment, and compressors.
• Performs pipeline maintenance tasks such as leak surveys and valve maintenance, pigging, and line locating.
• Performs basic operational tasks such as line locating, emptying tanks, refilling fluids, and inspecting tanks and facilities.
• Coordinates with construction on shut-downs, commissioning, and participates in PSSR and SIMOPS for transfer of new facilities/assets.
• Documents information and uses a computerized database for work orders, field data collection, and compliance reporting.
