Job summary

Devon is seeking a data analytics professional to perform technical and administrative data support for engineering and petro-technical staff, loading, verifying, and analyzing data from multiple sources. You will build dashboards, automate processes, and deliver data-driven insights to inform executive decisions.

The role involves mentoring junior analysts, leading cross-functional projects, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate insight delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in upstream/midstream Oil & Gas operations.
• Experience with large datasets and data-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers and petro-technical staff by loading, entering, verifying, manipulating, and reporting data.
• Automate processes and develop methods to retrieve, visualize, and analyze data.
• Create dashboards and visualizations for tracking and executive reporting.
• Lead cross-functional projects and engage stakeholders.
• Leverage AI tools to improve workflows and insights.
• Mentor Level 1-2 analysts and train in analytics skills.
• Drive data quality across databases and enforce standards.
• Collaborate across financial, operational, and technical data sources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
