Job description

Join WGM Group's dynamic engineering design team as a Midlevel Civil Engineer and contribute to innovative, community-oriented civil engineering projects in the Northern Rockies! This position can be based out of our Bozeman, Kalispell, or Missoula office.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our engineering design process, tackling diverse projects and ensuring that every detail meets our standards and regulatory requirements. Beyond your technical expertise, you will collaborate closely with project managers, engage with the public agencies, and provide exceptional client service.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Utilize technical software for drafting, design, and analysis of plan sets and other technical documents, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform complex engineering calculations, technical evaluations, specifications, and prepare permitting applications and feasibility reports.
  • Ensure all project tasks and technical documents meet company production, design, and QA/QC standards.
  • Coordinate and review work with project managers and clients, and effectively interface with public agencies.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, sharing your technical expertise to foster their growth.
  • Assist with project management tasks, contribute to client relations, and conduct construction observation and relevant field work.
Qualifications
