Job description

Enterprise middleware (MW) platforms and associated services are migrating out of the on-prem data centers to the Cloud.

This includes API Connect (APIC), DataPower (DP), WebSphere servers (WAS), IIB, and IBM MQ Message Brokers.

• WebSphere moving to Cloud (could be AWS or Azure)
• MQ moving to MQ in AWS OpenShift
• DataPower is moving to Virtual DataPower in AWS OpenShift
• APIC is moving to API Connect Cloud Gateway – AWS
• IIB moving to IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), which includes the newest version of IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to AWS OpenShift

The expectation is they can troubleshoot issues with the above middleware services and other integrated applications, and update configurations as needed.

For MQ, in addition to troubleshooting, need the ability to establish new MQ Clusters, MQ Managers, and MQ Queues and assist in integration configuration with consuming applications.

Must have strong analysis and problem-solving skills to identify root cause for connectivity issues and configurations needed to remediate.
