Job description

Job Summary – Middleware Engineer (Cloud/OpenShift)
  • Engineer and support enterprise middleware platforms (JBoss, WebSphere, Tomcat)
  • Deploy and troubleshoot applications on OpenShift (OCP)
  • Build and maintain Ansible automation for application deployments and configurations
  • Integrate middleware workloads with public cloud services (AWS or Azure)
  • Perform Linux administration, shell scripting, and JVM tuning/performance analysis
  • Manage SSL certificates and support platform security controls
  • Participate in production incident support and on‑call rotation
  • Collaborate with teams on CI/CD initiatives using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
  • Troubleshoot platform issues using logs, dumps, and GC analysis
  • Implement operational best practices and contribute to platform modernization and automation efforts
  • (Nice‑to‑have) Work with Kafka/MQ, Docker, monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.), and SRE concepts
