Compunnel Inc. seeks an Integration Systems Administrator to manage middleware platforms including IBM MQ, IBM ACE, MuleSoft, and J2EE servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat).

The role emphasizes 70–80% system administration and 20–30% development work related to ACE integrations. You will monitor, patch, and maintain systems for high availability, collaborate with developers to deploy APIs and workflows, and ensure security and best practices across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IS, Engineering, CS or equivalent.
• Extensive middleware experience with IBM MQ, IBM ACE, MuleSoft, Active MQ, Kafka.
• Administer J2EE servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat.
• Knowledge of IBM ACE development (message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute).
• Troubleshoot and tune JVMs.
• Experience with FTP/SFTP, AWS S3, Azure Blob.
• Familiarity with API mgmt and SOA (SOAP/REST).
• Strong scripting/automation (Shell, Perl, DataWeave, SQL).
• Security principles including SSH and file permissions.

Responsibilities

• Administer middleware platforms including IBM MQ, IBM ACE, MuleSoft, Active MQ, Kafka, and J2EE servers.
• Support EnergyIP MDM system for reliability and performance.
• Monitor and maintain middleware for 24x7 availability.
• Implement HA configurations and disaster recovery solutions.
• Patching and upgrades per policies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with developers to deploy APIs, services, and workflows.
• Develop and support IBM ACE flows, message transformations, and service integrations.
• Automate admin tasks using Shell, Perl, DataWeave, and SQL.
• Maintain system security including password management and access control.
• Document configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
• Provide cross-training and participate in on-call rotations.
