LEMONT BROMBEREK COMBINED SCHOOL DISTRICT 113A is seeking a wrestling coach to lead the program, organize after-school practices, and supervise contests. The role focuses on creating a positive, inclusive, educational environment that promotes skill development, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

The coach will plan 3-5 practices per week, oversee 12-18 meets, ensure student safety, and communicate with families and school staff about schedules and progress.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching middle school-aged students preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wrestling rules, techniques, and strategies.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team of young athletes.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to foster a positive sports environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct 3-5 practices per week.
• Supervise and manage the team during 12-18 scheduled contests.
• Provide direct supervision and guidance during all practices and games, ensuring safety of student-athletes.
• Foster teamwork, discipline, and strong work ethic within the team.
• Create and implement practice plans focused on skill development, game strategies, and fitness.
• Communicate with players, parents, and school administration about schedules and progress.
• Ensure compliance with district policies and athletic guidelines.
