Job summary

Genoa-Hugo School District No. C-113 is seeking a Middle School Assistant Volleyball Coach to promote a thriving volleyball program for student-athletes. The coach will assist in practice organization and provide knowledge about the sport's skills and rules. This role focuses on student-athlete development in an educational atmosphere.

The position requires two years of experience in volleyball, either as a player or coach. The coach will work closely with the Head Coach and Athletic Director to ensure effective program coordination.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Volleyball player or coach.
• Knowledge of Volleyball skills, rules, and applicable drills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the Volleyball program.
• Develop and organize practice programs for individual and team development.
• Instruct student-athletes on sport knowledge, rules and techniques.
• Liaison with staff, administration, and the public regarding the Volleyball program.
• Coordinate hosted tournaments.
• Maintain professional growth through coaching clinics and conferences.
• Coordinate managers and event support.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
