Job summary

Cincinnati Hebrew Day School is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Middle School Teacher for grades 6-8, with a dual-curriculum approach that includes Judaic and General Studies.

The role is part-time, 12:00–4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday, at Golf Manor, Cincinnati OH. Competitive salary with benefits such as 401(k), retirement plan, medical insurance and an extensive PTO package. A Bachelor's degree and strong communication with families are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two years experience in higher education teaching or classroom instruction is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in utilizing learning tools to enhance student engagement.
  • Demonstrated competency and experience with lesson planning; basic computer skills and use of web-based tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and share daily lesson plans based on existing curriculum.
  • Collaborate and correspond regularly with parents and administration.
  • Closely monitor and record student progress.
  • Tailor to individual student needs.
  • Fulfill other supervisory duties as assigned.

Cincinnati Hebrew Day School is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Middle School Teacher to join our educational team for Middle School Students, grades 6-8.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and share daily lesson plans based on existing curriculum
  • Collaborate and correspond regularly with parents and administration
  • Closely monitor and record student progress

  • Fulfill other supervisory duties as assigned
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
  • Starting salary $20,000
  • Part-time (between the hours of 12:00-4:00 PM)
  • Monday-Thursday
  • Golf Manor, Cincinnati OH
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in higher education teaching or classroom instruction is highly desirable.
