Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 32 college credits or pass the Praxis Paraprofessional Assessment.
• Candidate will be placed on Level 5 of the salary schedule; additional education or experience considered.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting with personal care and behavior interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing personal care, behavior interventions, and life skills for students with disabilities.
• Support implementation of Individual Education Plan (IEP) under supervision.
• Work in classroom setting, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively with staff.
