The role is temporary, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, and compensation up to $65/hr based on experience, in a substantially separate autism program. The ideal candidate holds a Massachusetts Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) license, is eligible through DESE, and has a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred).

Qualifications

• Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) required.
• Eligible to teach in MA via DESE.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with IEP development and MA Special Education laws.
• Experience with students who are nonverbal or on the autism spectrum is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction in a substantially separate autism program.
• Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families.
• Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
• Maintain a structured, high-needs classroom setting.
