The Middle School (grades 6, 7, 8) seeks a Spanish teacher. For the 2026-27 school year, this position will include teaching five sections of Middle School Spanish and serving as a Middle School Advisor.

Candidates will ideally have an advanced degree in languages or education or a related field and middle school teaching experience.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Teach five sections of Middle School Spanish while satisfying all related requirements such as lesson planning, instruction, evaluation, assessment, grading, etc.
• Serve as an advisor to a group of Middle School students.
• In addition to a full-time teaching schedule, faculty serve as advisors, mentor students in co-curricular activities, participate in division and department meetings, and satisfy other duties typical for a school setting. Developing strong relationships with students and colleagues is critical for one’s success at Ranney and for the school’s successful accomplishment of its mission.
