Job summary

North Allegheny School District seeks a Softball - Middle School Assistant Coach for the Spring 2027 season. The assistant will support the Head Coach in supervising, coordinating, and promoting all aspects of the interscholastic softball program at the middle school level.

This is a supplemental contract position only. Applicants must complete required clearances and trainings, including TB test, PA Criminal Record Check, mandated reporter training, and district-required annual trainings for

Qualifications

• Experience in youth/ MS athletics coaching preferred.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate under Head Coach guidance.
• Understanding of softball fundamentals and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Head Coach in supervising the softball program.
• Coordinate drills, practices, and game-day activities.
• Promote the program and ensure compliance with district policies and safety rules.
