Job summary

Sojourner Truth Academy in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Middle School Content Teacher to set high standards and build a foundation for scholars' academic and social success in a positive learning environment. You will plan engaging lessons, assess progress, and support diverse learners in grades 6–8.

The position requires a Minnesota teaching license, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to data-driven instructional improvement through weekly PLCs and MTSS team collaboration.

Job description

As a member of STA’s Academic Team, the Middle School Content Teacher is responsible for setting standards and laying a foundation of academic and social success for scholars by providing high quality, relevant educational instruction in a positive learning environment.

Compensation

• $44,000-$52,000+ Experience-based, Teachers
• $15 per hour+ Experience-based, Paraprofessionals
