Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus a Michigan Teaching Certificate with endorsed areas.
• Endorsements include Integrated Science (DI)/Science (DX)/(DQ), Physical Science (DP)/Earth Science (DH)/(IH), Biology (DA) or Chemistry (DC) or Physics (DE)/(IE); ZC & ZK endorsements also considered.
• Adept with technology and ready to use emergent techniques to enhance student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Aide in research, development, implementation, and evaluation of the Science curriculum.
• Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans.
• Incorporate practical applications of content knowledge in lesson plans.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each learner.
• Develop and implement progressive classroom-based interventions.
• Utilize progress monitoring.
• Monitor and evaluate student development and growth through assessments.
• Maintain accurate student classroom records.
