Qualifications

• MA Licensure in School Psychology is required.
• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling/Psychology.
• Experience with assessments and individual/group counseling.
• Experience in a middle school setting; knowledge of social skills programs such as Social Thinking.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• 3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for designated students.
• Assess referrals for school counseling or social skills intervention and provide intervention as appropriate; consult with staff and parents.
• Communicate clearly with school personnel, parents, and community resources while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in Building Child Study Team (CST) and with MTSS initiatives.
• Develop/oversee FBAs and BIPs.
• Conduct classroom and program observations.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and Director of Pupil Personnel Services.
