Job Title: Middle School Math Teacher

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Troy is hiring a Middle School Math Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in mathematics for middle school students, integrating Catholic values and promoting their spiritual, academic, and personal growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily math lessons aligned with curriculum standards and Catholic educational goals.
• Teach courses such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and general math.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Create a respectful, collaborative classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
• Incorporate technology, manipulatives, and real-world applications into instruction.
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators.
• Participate in school liturgies, prayer, and faith formation activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives, student support, and school-wide events.
• Maintain accurate records and follow school and diocesan policies, including classroom management and grading procedures.
