Job summary

Seattle Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Math Instructional Coach on a Career Ladder to lead job-embedded professional learning and support across multiple schools. The role focuses on enVision implementation, rigorous instruction, and classroom discourse to raise SBA outcomes by 2030.

The position is a three-year investment in building instructional capacity, with stipend in addition to certificated salary placement, and reports to the Math Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; three years of teaching experience; two years coaching experience.
• Washington state teaching certificate required.
• Experience with professional development for coaches.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver professional development for school-based coaches and teacher leaders.
• Model and coach instructional practices across multiple schools.
• Collaborate with principals and leadership teams to improve math instruction across campuses.
• Assist in aligning district curriculum with state standards and grade level expectations.
