Job summary

Colorado Christian Academy (CCA) in Douglas County, Colorado seeks a Middle School Math Faculty and Tutor to deliver engaging instruction, support academic growth, and nurture spiritual development within a Christ-centered learning community.

The position reports to the Director of Academics and is full-time, exempt, with hours 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM and a compensation range of $52,000–$70,000 depending on experience. Location: Englewood campus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
  • Teaching certification or eligibility.
  • Elementary teaching experience preferred.
  • Commitment to Christian education.
  • Participation in faculty meetings, in-service days, and Middle School Grade Band meetings is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight in assigned functional areas.
  • Contribute to student growth through Christ-centered engagement.
  • Execute role duties with excellence, stewardship, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and goals.
  • Support the spiritual, academic, and relational health of students.
  • Lead and strengthen the sixth-grade math program through high-quality instruction aligned with CCA’s academic vision and standards.
  • Provide targeted tutoring and intervention support for students across multiple grade levels through one-on-one and small-group instruction, helping students achieve academic growth and mastery.
  • Increase the capacity of the Academic Team to identify and address student learning needs, particularly in mathematics, through timely support and progress monitoring.
  • Support the long-term growth and sustainability of the middle school program by expanding faculty expertise, improving student outcomes, and strengthening the overall math pathway at CCA.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

Position: Middle School Math Faculty and Tutor

Reports To: Director of Academics

Location: CCA 333 Inverness Dr S Ste 100 Englewood CO 80112

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Compensation: $52,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience

Reporting Period: August 1 – May 31 (school breaks off except required staff development days)

Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

Position Overview:

Middle school teachers at CCA deliver engaging instruction while nurturing academic growth, character formation, and spiritual development within a Christ-centered learning community.

Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned could include supervision duties, event and Flex Friday support or instruction, and other needs during the school day. Participation in faculty meetings, in-service days, and Middle School Grade Band meetings is expected.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks and compliance with all applicable state and licensing requirements.
