Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Education degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish clear objectives for lessons, units, projects, and assessments.
• Develop lesson plans drawing content from professional development and student data.
• Use diverse instructional materials and experiences to enrich learning.
• Meet needs of all students, including ELL and students with disabilities or the gifted.
• Administer developmental assessments and track progress through milestones.
• Observe students and plan small groups and classroom setups based on interests.
• Monitor progress through formal and informal assessments in portfolios.
• Support students' social-emotional development and information processing profiles.
• Collaborate with families to support student progress.
• Attend summer institute and required professional development sessions.
