Qualifications

• Experience coaching the assigned sport.
• Exceptional communication with students and parents.
• Patient, positive and proactive attitude in dealing with students and parents.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a high level of dependability and organization.
• Utilize positive interpersonal relations and effective communication skills.
• Exhibit effective problem solving skills and judgment.
• Maintains inventory of all sporting equipment and supplies.
• Procures needed athletic equipment and supplies with administrators and vendors.
• Communicates expectations to teams and families at season start, including schedules and playing time.
• Organizes efficient try-out systems.
• Plans and executes practice and game plans and coordinates additional coaching staff.
• Complies with district and school procedures.
• Applies knowledge of sport to develop players of varying abilities.
• Maintains high behavioral and academic expectations.
