Job summary

Young World Physical Education is looking for a part-time MS Assistant Cross Country Coach to instruct participants in the fundamentals of cross country running. Responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach, managing student athletes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Required qualifications include a valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Authorization, strong interpersonal skills, and coaching experience. The position comes with a stipend of $1793. Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization required.
• Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Coaching and/or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the operation of the athletic program.
• Coaches and instructs players regarding the sport's rules and techniques.
• Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct.

Skills

Coaching and/or leadership experience

First Aid and CPR

Knowledge of conference rules and regulations

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Education
