Irvington Public Schools seeks an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 Winter Coaching vacancies at Union Avenue Middle School. Certification is required or substitute certification; prior coaching in basketball is highly desirable, and playing experience at college or professional levels is a plus.

Responsibilities are pursuant to assignment within the Athletics Department, under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• New Jersey teaching certification or Essex County substitute certificate required.
• Prior successful coaching experience in the specific sport is highly desirable.
• Previous collegiate or professional playing experience desirable.
