North Yarmouth Academy in Yarmouth, Maine seeks an experienced Middle School Boys Basketball Coach to teach the technical, tactical, and intangible aspects of the game while collaborating with all campus constituents and supporting the Academy's mission.
The position is seasonal and stipend-based; it requires Maine DEP fingerprinting, NFHS Heat Acclimatization and Concussion, CPR and First Aid, and NFHS Coaching certification, with preference for middle school coaching or playing experience.

Candidates should demonstrate a dedication to meeting the needs of each student‑athlete, enthusiasm, and passion for teaching technical, tactical, and intangible aspects of the sport plus the ability to work collaboratively with all campus constituents. The candidate should fully support the mission of the Academy and embrace the opportunity to work in a vibrant Pre‑K through postgraduate school community.
The selected candidate will possess or be able to obtain Maine Department of Education finger printing as well as NFHS course certification in Heat Acclimatization and Concussion; CPR and First Aid certification; and NFHS Coaching certification.
Preference will be given to candidates with comparable and successful playing and/or coaching experience in basketball at the middle school level.
Additional duties consistent with a successful varsity level program and outlined in collaboration with the Director of Athletics.
This is a seasonal, stipend position and requires completion of all school, league, and state paperwork and certifications.
