Responsibilities

• Coach individual student-athletes to improve skills and performance in the assigned sport.
• Actively supervise students during practices, games, travel, and overnight stays.
• Promote respect, integrity, and good sportsmanship among athletes.
• Assist in planning and conducting regular practice sessions.
• Provide input on game schedules in coordination with the head coach and Athletic Director.
• Recommend purchases of necessary equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory of sport-specific equipment.
• Complete and manage required forms including attendance, insurance, and incident reports.
• Monitor and ensure a safe practice and competition environment at all times.
• Support and enforce eligibility requirements and performance expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with the head coach and athletic staff.
• Uphold student discipline and manage consequences in accordance with the Athletic Handbook.
• Comply with all Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) regulations.
