Job summary

The Capital Markets Middle Office at Crédit Agricole CIB in the United States is seeking a Middle Officer for Equity Trading Support. You will help control booking, support Front Office workflows, and ensure lifecycle integrity across MO/BO systems.

Key tasks include monitoring reference data, handling corporate actions, invoicing validation, and liaising with Front Office, MO/BO, and IT. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Sophis is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in MO Equity trading support.
• Mandatory theoretical and operational knowledge of Equity Derivatives (Vanilla and Structured).
• Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Strategic Equity Trading, Equity Investment Solutions, and Global Repo and Indexing activities.
• Monitor and control market data reference data and lifecycle events (coupons, corporate actions, maturity).
• Coordinate with Front Office, MO/BO/Cross-functional teams, and IT Support for issue resolution.
• Control and validation of deals before issuance by linking order book and term sheet (Sophis).
• Monitor Front Office to Back Office breaks reported by other teams in the chain.
• Participate in process improvements and documentation with project teams and management.

Job description

Candidate will join Capital Markets Operations (CMO), which has global responsibility for all operational support functions (MO and BO) dedicated to market activities. Within CMO, the Markets Middle Offices (CMM) are responsible for controlling the booking of transactions in CACIB's Front Office and Back Office tools and for managing the transaction lifecycle.

The Capital Markets Middle Office scope includes:

• FO to BO Processing & Reconciliation Middle Office
• Fees & Brokerage Middle Office

Tasks And Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of a Middle Officer in Equity Trading Support fall within the scope of providing support for Strategic Equity Trading, Equity Investment Solutions, and Global Repo and Indexing activities.

This includes the following activities:

• Corporate Investment Solutions
• Convertible Bonds
• Equity Investment Solutions
• Equity Finance and Delta One
• Control of transaction modeling initiated by the Front Office in the SOPHIS FO application
• Control and validation of deals before issuance, by linking the order book and term sheet (System: Sophis)
• Monitoring and validation of invoices
• Liaison between the Front Office, Operations (MO/BO/Cross-functional), and IT Support
• Monitoring of Front Office to Back Office breaks reported by other teams in the chain
• Participation and support for continuous improvement and process optimization projects (specifications, user testing, process documentation) in collaboration with project teams, IT teams, and management

2) Data. Reference Data, and Lifecycle

• Monitoring and management of the market data reference data (Stocks, indices, proprietary indices, Third Parties, calendars) with internal or external providers)
• Monitoring and control of the reference data for listed Derivatives products (Options and futures)
• Coordination with BO payment teams for margin call settlements
• Tracking, calculation, and validation of events impacting the lifecycle of a structured product (coupons, Corporate Actions, early partial closure, early exercise, maturity, notional changes, etc.)
• Maintaining on-call duty before market opening and after closing to ensure accurate reflection of market information in our systems
• Modeling and booking of Corporate Actions in the Front Office system

Candidate Criteria

• +3 yrs experience in MO Equity trading support
• Prior experience with Equity Derivatives market products is required: Mandatory theoretical and operational knowledge of Equity Derivatives (Vanilla and Structured)
