Young World Physical Education is seeking a Middle Grades Teacher in Oxford, North Carolina. To plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development.
Performs other related work as required.
Degree in education or a related area qualifying for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
Physical Requirements: Use various equipment and classroom tools; lift, carry, push, pull with negligible force; stand/walk consistently; requirements equivalent to Light Work.

Motor Coordination: Coordinate hands and eyes rapidly and accurately when using office equipment.
Manual Dexterity: Handle tools and office equipment; maintain basic eye/hand/foot coordination.
Color Discrimination: Differentiate between colors and shades.
Interpersonal Temperament: Engage with people beyond instruction; adapt to stress and emergency situations.
Physical Communication: Talk and hear; use telephone effectively.
Constantly monitor student safety and well‑being, especially during inclusive activities.
