The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenure track positions in Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Texas at Austin. These roles will involve teaching undergraduate or graduate courses, based on student needs and funding availability.

College/School/Unit: Department of Middle Eastern Studies
The Department of Middle Eastern Studies at The University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non‑tenure track positions to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are normally made on a semester‑by‑semester basis, though sometimes a yearlong appointment may be made. Positions are renewable annually, contingent upon funding and performance.
A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience relevant to the MiddleEast is preferred.
