Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services in Brewer, ME is seeking a Courier to support laboratory operations through safe pickup, transport, and delivery of environmental samples. You will help ensure data integrity and timely delivery while upholding Pace® values in a collaborative, customer-focused setting.

This part-time role offers 20 hours per week with shifts 11:00 AM–1:00 PM, Monday–Friday. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; prior courier experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a related role is preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to maintain all required licenses and certifications.
• Knowledge of safe driving, customer service, and sample transport principles.
• Ability to learn and follow organizational policies, procedures, and transportation protocols.
• Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation accurately.
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good judgment, professionalism, and discretion when interacting with others.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials as needed.
• Prepare your assigned vehicle for daily operations, including documentation, safety checks, and basic maintenance needs.
• Provide support and assistance to staff and management related to sample transport procedures.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and customer focused work environment aligned with Pace® values.
