Job summary

Buckhead Pet Pals in Atlanta is seeking a daytime dog walker to cover the 11:00am–3:00pm window, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about dog breeds and temperament to ensure safe, happy walks.

Walks typically last 20–30 minutes per visit, in various weather conditions, with a focus on daily client visits. Strong customer service and clear client communication are essential for success with our 4‑legged clients.

Qualifications

• Dog walking experience is a plus but you must have a good understanding of dogs and their behavior.
• Communication with the client and office is imperative for this position.
• Must have an up to date smart phone with plenty of data and storage for using our mobile application

Responsibilities

• Walking/Exercising: 20–30 minute visits to exercise dogs while owners are away.
• Weather: Walk and care for pets in sunny, rainy, snowy, or perfect weather.
• Daily Dog Walking: Primary focus on daily walks; some morning/evening visits may exist.
