Job summary

Auto Systems Centers, the world's largest Midas franchisee now part of the Mavis Tire family, seeks an Automotive Lead Technician in Westerville, OH to perform vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.

You will join a team that emphasizes dependability, safety, and quality service, with a 5-day work week, paid time off, and ASE certification support.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of automotive repair experience or an education+experience combination.
• Valid driver’s license required; ASE certification is a strong bonus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in the U.S.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.
• Demonstrates dependability, teamwork, and delivering quality service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive mechanical services including brakes, suspensions, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state inspections and oil/ filter changes.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn parts.

What You'll Do

• Complete state-mandated inspections and change oil/filters.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn automotive parts.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive repair, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Credentials: A valid driver's license is required; ASE Certification is a major bonus.
• Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
