Job summary

Auto Systems Centers in New Kensington, PA, part of the Midas family, is seeking full-time Automotive Lead Technician to join our state-of-the-art service, repair, and tire center.

You will inspect, diagnose, and service brakes, suspensions, tires, and routine maintenance, with opportunities for ASE certification support and internal promotion within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent training.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification is a major bonus.
• Must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive mechanical services including brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and change oil/filters.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn automotive parts.

What You'll Do

As a leader in undercar repairs, you will be trusted to:

What We're Looking For

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive repair, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Credentials: A valid driver's license is required; ASE Certification is a major bonus.
• Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
