Job summary

Midas Fayetteville, GA is seeking a full-time Automotive Lead Technician to join our state-of-the-art service, repair, and tire center. You will lead undercar work, diagnose and service brakes, struts, shocks, tires, and routine maintenance with an emphasis on quality and speed.

We offer competitive weekly pay with potential bonuses up to $150K annually, a 5-day work week with one weekday off, 401(k) with employer match, full benefits, PTO, ASE certification support, and a tool/uniform program

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license required; ASE Certification is a major bonus.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physically able to lift 50+ pounds and work in a fast-paced shop.
• Dependability, teamwork, and commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and service brakes, suspensions, and routine maintenance.
• Perform state inspections and oil/filters changes.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn parts as needed.

What you'll do

As a leader in undercar repairs, you will be trusted to:

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive mechanical services including brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and change oil/filters.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn automotive parts.

What we're looking for

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive repair, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Credentials: A valid driver's license is required; ASE Certification is a major bonus.
• Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
