Job summary

Auto Systems Centers, the world\'s largest Midas franchisee now part of the Mavis Tire Family, is hiring an Automotive Lead Technician in New Albany, OH. This full-time role offers a competitive pay package with weekly base plus bonus potential and benefits.

You will lead undercar repairs, inspect and diagnose vehicles, perform maintenance, tire work, and ensure quality service in a fast-paced shop environment. ASE certification supported for growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services (brakes, struts, shocks, routine maintenance)
• Complete state inspections and oil/filters changes
• Dismount/mount/balance tires and rotate tires
• Check fluids and replace worn parts as needed

What you'll do

As a leader in undercar repairs, you will be trusted to:

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive mechanical services including brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and change oil/filters.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn automotive parts.

What we're looking for

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience/training in automotive repair, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Credentials: A valid driver's license is required; ASE Certification is a major bonus.
• Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
