Job summary

Auto Systems Centers in Akron, OH is seeking a full-time Automotive Lead Technician to join a high-volume service and tire center. You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles, with focus on brakes, suspension, and tire work, in a fast-paced shop.

We offer a competitive compensation package with weekly pay, potential bonuses up to $150K annually, a 5-day schedule with Sundays off, and a strong benefits program including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or education/experience combination.
• Valid driver's license required; ASE certification is a bonus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items weighing over 50 pounds.
• Desire to be dependable, a team player, and provide quality service in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive mechanical services including brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state inspections and change oil/filters.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn parts.
