CORRE, Inc. seeks a Mid to Senior Level Bridge Engineer to lead design efforts for local and DOT structures across Wisconsin. The role focuses on delivering safe, durable bridges with an emphasis on client service and innovation in a hybrid work setting.

You will supervise and participate in conceptual through detailed design using prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, steel and timber, with emphasis on quality and collaboration, and you may travel for project meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering required.
  • 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Bureau of Structures procedures.
  • Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools.
  • Structural problem analysis skills.
  • Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable design codes.
  • Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Prior experience with complex bridge projects a plus.
  • WI PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.

  • Manage or actively work on bridge projects including design tasks and coordinating with engineering staff.
  • Design of new bridges using prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel and timber components.
  • Assessment and rehabilitation design of existing bridges.
  • Load evaluation of existing bridges.
  • Prepare technical specifications, design documents, reports and provide technical engineering support.

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Mid to Senior Level Bridge Engineer to join our growing structures group. Work will consist of leading design efforts for both local and DOT structures throughout Wisconsin. This position offers an excellent opportunity for upward mobility within a growing firm. Description:
  • Lead Structural Engineer on projects including reviewing designs and plans.
  • Provide specialized technical input on transportation related projects.

  • Conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of new bridges utilizing prestressed concrete, reinforced concrete, structural steel and timber components.
  • Assessment and rehabilitation design of existing bridges.
  • Load evaluation of existing bridges.
  • Experience in preparation of technical specifications and design documents, report writing and technical engineering support.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering
  • 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Bureau of Structures procedures is required.
  • Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools.
  • Structural problem analysis skills.
