Job summary

MGAC, a global boutique consultancy, seeks a Mid to Senior Construction Project Manager specialized in Electrical forFort Wayne, IN. The role requires 4-5 days onsite weekly, leading critical environments projects like data centers and hospitals.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks while mentoring teams and ensuring client objectives are achieved through strong collaboration with A&E professionals and GC teams.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in construction project management.
  • 5+ years managing critical environment construction projects (data centers, labs, hospitals).
  • MEP experience in ground-up construction.
  • Bachelor's, Associate's, or equivalent construction-related education.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage full project scope and components for multiple projects.
  • Mentor and lead teams, manage schedule, scope and budget.
  • Lead risk management, contingency planning, and budget recovery.
  • Ensure client vision is met as a trusted partner.
  • Collaborate with clients, A&E professionals, contractors, and vendors.

Position Title: Mid to Senior Construction Project Manager- Electrical

  • 7+ years of experience in construction project management with a thorough understanding of the building design and construction process.
  • Bachelors, Associates, or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience managing critical environment construction projects (e.g., data centers, labs, hospitals).
  • MEP experience in ground-up construction.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

What Youll Be Doing

MGACs Critical Environments team manages the construction of data centers and hospitals with deep industry expertise. We act as owners representativesresolving issues, managing conflicts, and guiding informed decisions to keep projects on track. As a Project Manager at MGAC, you will lead incredible, resume-building, high-visibility projects.

Project Leadership
  • Independently manage the full scope of projects while simultaneously managing components of others.
  • Mentor and lead teams while managing schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Lead project risk management, contingency planning, and schedule and budget recovery planning.
  • Achieve and maintain the clients vision as a trusted partner.
Financial and Contract Management
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collection.
  • Identify and secure add-services opportunities.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, A&E professionals, contractors/GCs, vendors, and other teams.
  • Anticipate project and team risks; solve complex challenges and conflicts.
  • Conduct requirements gathering and needs assessments.

Salary Range

$125,000 - $165,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
