Job summary

Responsibilities include editing tables and graphics, applying proper classification markings, and collaborating with authors to improve structure and coherence under TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
• Ability to obtain polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree required and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience editing intelligence or government documents preferred.

Amentum is seeking Mid Technical Editor (O&M) to support an Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Intelligence Cycle Management Directorate (N2) contract in Suitland, MD

Work Schedule:

M-F 0730-1630

Essential Responsibilities:

• Reviews intelligence products for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax, as well as for logic, clarity, and consistency.
• Ensures that style and format conform to agency publication standards and that language presentation is consistent with prescribed style guides and specialized vocabulary of subject matter fields.
• Amends draft tables, tone boxes, and graphics to ensure the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
• Ensures proper classification markings in accordance with IC guidance.
• Works with authors to revise products for narrative organization, and negotiates further revisions as needed

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Must possess a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
• Must be able to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelors degree and 8 years

Security Clearance Required:

• Active Top Secret Clearance

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s

• Degree from an accredited university or college in one of the social sciences, criminal justice, national security, or a related field.

Minimum Years of Experience:

• Individual must possess eight (8) or more years demonstrated experience

Compensation Details:

$115,000-$135,000
