Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Mid Shift Warehouse Lead in Plainfield, Indiana to guide a team and drive efficient warehouse operations. You will supervise daily activities, enforce safety standards, and ensure accuracy in receiving, storage, and distribution processes.

The role emphasizes leadership and hands-on involvement in a fast-paced environment. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work a Monday–Friday 11:00am–7:00pm shift, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a warehouse/distribution environment preferred.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead to assign daily work to team members and promote safe practices.
• Oversee loading/unloading of products and material handling.
• Manage material organization and storage within the area.
• Coordinate receipt, storage and distribution of materials and tools.

Pay Range: $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm

YOUR ROLE

If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to lead team members to execute essential manual duties and contribute to delivering results in a safe and efficient warehouse operation.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Serve as the lead to distribute work assignments and daily activities to team members. Promote safe work practices. Follow and ensure quality standards are adhered to. Post the performance numbers for area.
• Oversee loading and unloading of products.
• Manage material organization by moving materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Coordinate receipt, storage and distribution of materials, tools equipment, and products within assigned area.
• Comply with legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
• Ensure the proper labelling, tagging and packing of goods and materials in assigned area.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets / shelves, move orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Assist in receiving cargo by removing from truck by hand or using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack or similar manual hand tools.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; One year experience in a warehouse or distribution environment; One to two years industry related experience preferred.
• Credentials: May require forklift certification.
• Skills: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds; Abilityto climb ladders; Good or corrected vision; Ability to add andsubtract.
• Characteristics: Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds; Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents; Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
