Job summary

CTDI in Flower Mound, TX, is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate and lead production workers, ensuring targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and P&L results are driven. This on-site role covers mid-shift hours 10:30 AM–7:00 PM, with occasional 3:00 PM–11:30 PM as needed.

Starting pay is $21.44/hour plus a 20% supervisor premium and shift differential, totaling $25.73/hour. Eligible for a potential monthly bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in a materials/distribution environment preferred.
• Capable problem-solving and decision-making with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented and organized with ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities; effective verbal and written communication.
• Capacity to engage with customers professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in P&L forecasting and labor planning; support scheduling.

The production supervisor position is responsible for coordinating and assigning the activities of production workers, ensuring that production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and driving P&L results. This position supervises production operations within an assigned areas or during assigned shifts.

Mid-Shift: 10:30AM - 7:00PM, Monday - Friday

*availability to work 3:00PM - 11:30PM when needed

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
• Schedule and assign tasks to workers, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
• Deliver clear and concise information during shift transition meetings, ensuring the next shift is prepared for success.
• Provide first level of support for any escalated issue during work shift.
• Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance metrics.
• Communicate effectively with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are promptly resolved.
• Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
• Assists in P&L forecasting and analysis, alongside labor planning and scheduling.
• Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required.
• Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
• Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding company and departmental procedures, development opportunities, and departmental processes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports

Required Skills and Experience

• 1+ years of leadership experience, materials/distribution environment is preferred.
• Capable problem-solving skills and decision‑making capabilities, demonstrating a strategic approach with a focus on achieving results and fostering continuous improvement.
• Detail‑oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication.
• Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high‑volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Supervising temporary staff.
• Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
• General knowledge of OSHA Standards.

Educational Requirements

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
