Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Security Specialist to support the USCENTCOM J2/SSO. You will provide multi-discipline security services to manage information, personnel and physical security programs and brief indoctrinations to promote SETA.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of security experience or an associate degree with DoD exposure; familiarity with JPAS/AMAG/DS CCTV is a plus; TS/SCI with Poly is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related security experience or an Associate’s degree with DoD/SSO exposure.
• Experience with security systems (AMAG/DS CCTV) or JPAS, Scattered Castles, CATS, DISS.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-discipline Security Specialists to support USCENTCOM SSO.
• Brief and train command security practices for indoctrination briefs to SETA.
• Update local security publications per DoD/DIA guidance.
• Coordinate courier authorization and forward-deployed unit guidance.
• Coordinate with customers and Defense Courier Service for classified material.

Purpose and Impact:

This position with Amentum isto support the United States Central Command J2Directoratethrough theSSO. Yoursecurityexpertisewill be vital to theoperations and security of the command. You willwitnessthe impact of yourwork through thecompletion of contractual deliverables to the customer.

Work Schedule:

8 hour day shift

Essential Responsibilities:

Theemployeeshall provide multi-discipline Security Specialists to provide support to the USCENTCOM Special Security Office (CCJ2-SSO) in managing the Command Information Security, Personnel Security, and Physical Security Programs. The employee shall brief and train proper command security practices for the Command Security Indoctrination briefings to promote Security Education, Training & Awareness (SETA). The employee shall update local security publications asrequired, consistent with DoD/DIA guidance. The employee shall provide input into CENTCOM history reports and maintainthe SSO webpage. The employee shall inspect and draft written feedback in support of the Command Inspection Program. The employee shall coordinate, track, document, brief, trainand issue courier authorization in support of the Courier Authorization Program. The employee shall coordinate with customers and Defense Courier Service staff for the delivery and pickup of classifiedmaterial and provideSME guidance for forward deployed units.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Minimum5 years of related security experience or Associate’s degree with experience working at a COCOM, or deployed SSO with two of the following: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (DoD), experience with wireless security and a strong Physical Security background and experience using AMAG and DS CCTVB; OR Expertise using JPAS, Scattered Castles, CATS, DISS or equivalent Personnel Security System, SETA program.

Compensation Details:
