You will work with developers, platform engineers, and government security stakeholders to maintain ATO packages, monitor posture, and respond to security incidents in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or related technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of information security or information assurance experience.
  • Working knowledge of RMF and NIST SP 800-53 security controls.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and STIG compliance tools.
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support RMF activities including security control implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring.
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning and analysis using ACAS/Nessus; track remediation through POA&Ms.
  • Apply and validate DISA STIG hardening across applications, operating systems, and infrastructure components.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages.
  • Coordinate with development teams to integrate security requirements into design and delivery.
  • Monitor security posture and report findings, risks, and metrics to program and Government stakeholders.
  • Support incident response, audit, and inspection activities as required.
