Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Mid-Mile Route Driver to operate delivery vehicles, load and unload orders, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries to stores and warehouses. You will follow routes, verify paperwork, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Candidates must have HS Diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver's license for 3+ years, a clean driving record, and pass background/MVR checks. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Weekend/nights may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 3+ years of driving experience.
• Background screening and Motor Vehicle record screening required.
• No suspended or revoked licenses, no major violations in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive an H-E-B vehicle to deliver and unload orders to stores or warehouses.
• Ensure merchandise arrives safely, on time, and undamaged.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo; verify paperwork and route using manifest.
• Adhere to safety laws and company policies; assist with store deliveries.
