Job summary

Que Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the AdmitIT product.

The role covers manual and automated testing, with a strong emphasis on test plan design, defect identification, and collaboration with development teams. You will work in a full-time capacity at a Government or contractor facility in the Fort Meade, MD area, contributing to continuous process improvements and test automation initiatives while balancing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field with 5 years software engineering experience; or 9 years total with substitution.
2+ years in SIGINT/IA/IT domains.
Hands-on with test automation tools such as Selenium, Bruno, Cypress.
Experience with API testing, Linux, UAT and accessibility (508).

Responsibilities

Design and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with requirements.
Execute manual and automated tests across functional, regression, API, UAT, and 508 testing.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects with reproduction steps and severity.
Analyze test outcomes and provide actionable feedback to developers.
Collaborate across SDLC and contribute to testing process improvements.
Develop and enhance test automation frameworks to increase coverage.
Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.
Define QA standards and prioritize testing against timelines.
Maintain documentation of test artifacts and quality metrics.
