Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a senior systems engineer to support the full lifecycle of enterprise infrastructure across mission-critical environments, leveraging Python development and containerization with Docker to automate processes, deploy scalable solutions, and improve reliability.

The engineer will collaborate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions aligned with mission objectives and to enhance performance, scalability, and security

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline.
Ten years of systems engineering experience.
IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.

Responsibilities

Maintain Python-based automation tools for enterprise and mission systems.
Maintain containerized apps and services using Docker.
Support integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of containerized solutions across Linux environments.
Automate deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operational processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
Apply systems engineering principles throughout the lifecycle: requirements, design, integration, testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
Analyze system performance and issues; propose modernization, scalability, reliability improvements.
Collaborate with Government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver quality engineering products.
