Job summary

Alexandria Insights, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support acquisition programs in Stafford, VA. You will provide direct technical support to a diverse team and contribute to testing, integration, and documentation efforts while ensuring compliance with technical standards.

The role requires 5–9 years in systems engineering, experience with SETR events and ECP analysis, and a DoD SECRET clearance. Occasional travel and on-site work in Stafford, VA are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 to 9 years of experience in systems engineering, testing, and evaluation.
• Experience with SETR events, requirements traceability, and documentation.
• Proven expertise in cybersecurity, system integration, and analyzing technical specs and ECPs.
• Prior experience supporting Marine Corps or similar defense acquisition programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical support to Assistant Program Managers and team members in systems engineering, testing, and program management.
• Develop and revise engineering documentation, reports, and briefings related to the acquisition programs; support technical reviews.
• Conduct technical assessments of Prime Contractor deliverables, system architecture, and ECPs; ensure requirements compliance and identify improvements.
• Assist in development and execution of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), test strategies, procedures, and evaluations.
• Evaluate integration and interoperability of systems, including cybersecurity, architecture, and Marine Corps Enterprise Architecture considerations.
• Perform RAM, FRACAS, and TIR analyses; document and manage program baselines.
• Support obsolescence and DMSMS issues to ensure continued functionality and updates.
