Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Short Hills, NJ seeks a mid-level corporate associate with 3–6 years of law firm experience to join the Corporate Practice. You will work closely with partners on strategic transactions, including M&A and private equity, drafting and negotiating documents and coordinating deal closings.

You will supervise junior associates, manage client relationships, and contribute to due diligence and research efforts across industries. A JD and active NJ or NY license are required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of law firm experience required.
• Experience in M&A required.
• Experience in private equity fund management preferred.
• Experience supervising junior associates required.
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey or New York.

Responsibilities

• Represent buyers and sellers in strategic transactions.
• Coordinate and execute corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
• Conduct diligence reviews and coordinate deal closings.
• Supervise and train junior associates.
• Manage client relationships and perform general research.
