Spirit AeroSystems in Wichita, KS seeks an APQP focal to drive flawless launches, transfers, and PPAP. You will lead APQP/PPAP efforts across the supply chain, train staff, and coordinate supplier programs while coaching on the Quality System.

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units(“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.
The APQP focal is responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of new product launches, work transfers and process changes to existing product. The focal will lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) efforts across Spirits supply chain. As a Spirit representative, the APQP focal will also conduct training programs and coordinate company initiatives to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity. The focal will provide technical expertise to company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory education and coaching on the Quality System.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $77,250 - $118,450
